Stagg Western Guitar
I just bought my second Stagg Western Guitar on ebay yesterday for eighty bucks. I know, I know, the sites about electric guitars. Well Stagg makes electrics too. I bought an exact copy of the picture above about a year ago. I was too lazy to take a picture of it, but that's what it looks like. The reason I wanted to mention these guitars is that if you have ever picked up a full size acoustic, after playing an electric, it feels like you're pregnant, with twins. I bought the first one as a joke for sixty buck so that I could have it shipped to where I was going on vacation and then leave it there. After putting on new strings the guitar sounds remarkable for the money, and the best part is it's small. It doesn't feel awkward after playing an electric, and with a 25 1/4" scale it's easier to bend strings than a full size acoustic. To boot it's also quieter than a full size acoustic, probably due to the small body. If you've been looking for a cheap acoustic to noodle around on check out this Stagg. A name that's hard to forget if you're old enough to remember stag films. JB For questions email me at Guitarinfo145@aol.com
